Our Vision
At Renaissance Middle School we are committed to preparing students for college and careers. We strive to inspire and empower students to excel both academically and socially, while preparing them to be productive citizens and future leaders. To that end, RMS aims to provide a nurturing and safe environment that fosters a rigorous academic curriculum to prepare students to become lifelong learners.
Priority Focus
To build teacher capacity around intentional planning of questions and discussion techniques that deepen student understanding through professional development and modeling. This differentiated support will increase students' ability to think critically, provide rich peer feedback and engage in student led discussions.
Instructional Focus
Students will Make Their Thinking Visible to their peers and teacher(s) by demonstrating their understanding of content in multiple ways including (but not limited to) discussion, modeling and writing.
